Flight Test Associates (FTA), Mojave CA is currently supporting FAA flight tests for Clifford Development’s Citation 550 FJ44-3 re-engine program at the Mojave Air and Spaceport. The FJ44-3 engines offer 30% to 35% fuel savings, 20 to 25 minute time to climb (to 43,000’) and 30% to 35% increase in trip range.
FTA’s core business is flight test support, R&D, engineering and modifications, narrow body aircraft maintenance and narrow and wide body aircraft storage and reactivation. FTA holds numerous STCs including LR20 series and Hawker 400/600 series RVSM solutions. Other cockpit upgrades include TCAS, TAWS,EGPWS, FMS, SATCOM and various communication system modifications.
Flight Test Associates, an FAA approved repair station, was founded in 1996. In April 2005 FTA acquired the assets of Avtel Services substantially increasing its aircraft capabilities and employee base. FTA continues to grow and attract new and repeat business. Maintaining excellent customer service coupled with a strong quest to be the West Coast MRO of choice, FTA is here to stay.
